Osaka Japan Travel Review Fun, delicious and super fun 💖🇯🇵 Hello everyone! Today I will share my experience of traveling to Osaka that I just went to. Osaka is a very lovely city with its own charm that made us fall in love from the first step. Whether it's the food, transportation or the friendliness of the people, if you are thinking of going to Japan, I recommend you to try Osaka. I guarantee that you will be so happy that you will want to stay for a long time. ⸻ Travel and accommodation 🛫🏨 Start the trip by flying to Kansai Airport. This airport is very convenient. We used the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service to go to Osaka because it is convenient, fast and not expensive. Plus, the view along the way is beautiful. You can see the sea and fresh nature. Our accommodation this time is in Shinsaibashi, the hottest shopping and dining area in Osaka. Traveling to various places is very easy because there are subways and JR trains passing almost everywhere. Those who love shopping will have a great time. The accommodation is a small traditional Japanese ryokan with soft futons. And the atmosphere is warm and homey. We really like it. Because it makes us feel like we can really experience Japanese culture. ⸻ Day 1: Explore Dotonbori and Takoyaki 🐙🍡 After packing up and resting, we went for a walk in the Dotonbori area in the evening. This is a popular hangout spot for Osaka locals and tourists. There are colorful neon lights and shops everywhere. The highlight that everyone must check in is the "Glico Sign", a classic neon sign of a runner, which has become a symbol of this city. We took a lot of pictures. So happy. The food that you shouldn't miss is "Takoyaki" or fried dough stuffed with squid, round, hot, topped with sweet and sour sauce and Japanese mayonnaise. The taste is well-rounded and very delicious. We ate it many times because we were so addicted. ⸻ Day 2: Visit Osaka Castle and Sakura Park 🌸🏯 The next day, we woke up early to go sightseeing. “Osaka Castle” is a beautiful and important historical site in this city. The atmosphere around the castle has beautiful gardens and cherry trees that, if you go during spring, will be in full bloom and very beautiful. Walk up to see the view on the top floor of the castle. You can see the entire Osaka city in a panoramic view. It's so beautiful that you'll be amazed. In the castle, there is a museum that tells the story of Japanese history and culture in an easy-to-understand way. It gave us knowledge and was impressed by the greatness of Japan's past. After walking around the garden, we stopped to sit under the trees and breathe in the fresh air. It was a very relaxing feeling. ⸻ Day 3: Have the most fun at Universal Studios Japan 🎢🎠 If you like theme parks, don't miss Universal Studios Japan (USJ). Here, there are exciting rides and themed zones from famous movies such as Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Minions, and others. We bought tickets in advance so we didn't have to waste time queuing. We arrived early in the morning, so we could play all the rides all day long. The Harry Potter zone is like entering a real magical world. Everything is so realistic that we were really into it. There is also a Super Nintendo World zone that is very bright and fun. There are also games to play. It was a day of fun until we were tired. But full of good memories ⸻ Day 4: Shopping in Shinsaibashi and wearing a kimono 👘🎀 The next day, we went shopping in Shinsaibashi, a famous shopping area in Osaka. There are many Japanese brand clothing stores, sweet shops, and cute souvenirs. We tried renting a sweet pink kimono and walking around taking pictures in the alleys. It felt very Japanese. After that, we stopped by a green tea cafe that served soft mochi with strong green tea. It was so delicious that I wanted to eat it every day. ⸻ Day 5: Kuromon Market - Lots of fresh and delicious food 🦀🍣 Kuromon Market is a fresh market with a lot of fresh seafood to choose from. We tried the giant crab, grilled shrimp, and fresh sushi here. The taste was sweet and crispy, so fresh that it almost melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was lively, with the sound of customers calling and the smell of delicious food that made our mouths water. There were also many other Japanese sweets and snacks to try. Those who love seafood and fresh food will definitely love this place. ⸻ Last day: Goodbye Osaka and my favorite ramen bowl 🍜💕 Before heading back, we stopped by a famous ramen shop in Namba. The soup was rich, the noodles were chewy, and the pork was so fragrant and flavorful that we had to tell everyone. Walked around Namba and took pictures with the beautiful and unique neon signs. Osaka is a city full of smiles, warmth, and cute stories that make us want to come back again and again. ⸻ Summary of my impressions 💖 Osaka is a city full of fun, delicious food, and fascinating culture. This place is suitable for everyone, whether you come with friends, family, or your lover. We love the friendliness of the people, the convenience of transportation, and the food that we love.
