After a long flight, we arrived at Kansai Airport. We immediately took the train into Osaka. Traveling is very convenient. The Kansai train is cute and very modern. There are clear English signs, so it is not confusing. Boom chose to take the Nankai Line and get off at Namba Station because it is in the city center and has many restaurants and shopping areas. ⸻ Dontonbori, amazing neon lights with hot takoyaki As soon as you exit the station, you will see Dontonbori Street. It is a very lively street with colorful neon lights that are very striking. It's like you haven't been to Osaka if you don't take a picture with the giant Glico sign! Boom was walking around and enjoying himself. On the way, we found a famous takoyaki shop. The line was very long, but Boom couldn't wait any longer. The takoyaki here is round, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, filled with fresh squid, topped with sweet sauce, mayonnaise, and seaweed powder. It was so delicious that I had to order it twice. It's like eating it in a Japanese movie! ⸻ Osaka Castle, a photo spot and beautiful history The next day, Boom woke up very early to go see Osaka Castle, a castle that stands out with its white color contrasting with the ancient green roof. Surrounded by beautiful cherry trees, if you come in the spring, it's so beautiful that you can't take your eyes off it. Boom walked up to the top floor of the castle and saw a 360-degree view of Osaka. Oh my! It was so beautiful that I had to stop and take dozens of pictures. Plus, I also learned about the history of Japan when the castle was built. ⸻ Universal Studios Japan, full-speed fun in a world of imagination If you're a theme park lover, Boom recommends buying a ticket to Universal Studios Japan because it's so much fun!!! The most popular zone is Harry Potter, where Boom walked in and felt like he had entered a magical world. There were many fun rides, including Minions, Dinosaurs, and a bright and cute Super Nintendo zone. Boom recommends buying an Express Pass because the lines for each ride are very long. However, if you have this card, you can skip the queue quickly. You can play almost every ride without having to wait long. ⸻ Shinsaibashi, a shopping district with everything After having fun in the amusement park until I was satisfied, the next day Boom went for a walk in Shinsaibashi, a shopping district with shops ranging from famous brands to cute and inexpensive items. Boom really liked the atmosphere here. It was a long walkway with a roof that was easy to walk on. Boom found many cute cafes, so we stopped for a hot cup of green tea and some red bean mochi. It was so delicious that I almost forgot the time. Boom walked around and chose to try fresh sushi, grilled squid, and large scallops. And another round of takoyaki. The taste is fresh and sweet and delicious. Boom likes the atmosphere here because the vendors are fun to talk to and friendly, making it feel warm like visiting a Japanese friend's house. ⸻ Osaka food is so delicious that I have to give it a thumbs up! Osaka is truly a food lover's paradise.
