🎀✨ Osaka is a dream world that has become the reality of our hearts ✨🎀 If you are thinking of a lovely city with delicious food, kind people, various places to visit and a warm atmosphere… Osaka is the answer that we want you to try to experience at least once in your life 💕 Starting from missing Japan so much, we booked a ticket without hesitation and packed our bags with our favorite winter clothes, cute woolen hats, and our extremely excited hearts for a 5-day, 4-night trip in “Osaka” A city that is not too big but warm in every square meter! 🧣🌨️ ⸻ 🌅 Day 1 – Arrived in Osaka~ Starting with the sound of our hearts beating wildly The morning flight made us arrive at Kansai Airport with the whole day to go. As soon as we stepped foot in Japan, The smell of happiness is faintly wafting in. 🌬️ We chose to take the Nankai Airport Express into the city directly to the super-chic Namba area, the center of Osaka that everyone must visit~ Let's start by walking around Dotonbori, the lively and colorful district. There are both the Glico sign, the legend, and the river flowing through the city that reflects the city lights sparkling at night. 🏙️✨ We stopped to eat hot takoyaki that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, sprinkled with dried fish, so fragrant that we had to ask for more. And don't miss the okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza) served with the smiles of the super-cute Japanese staff. 🍽️🥢 ⸻ 🎡 Day 2 – USJ, a day of dreams and laughter Today we woke up at dawn! Because we were going to Universal Studios Japan. 🎢 We wore Harry Potter-themed outfits with magic wands in our bags. And the heart is ready to be hit by magic 💫 Open the day with the Harry Potter zone, which is like entering a real magical world. There is Hogwarts Castle standing tall, Honeydukes shop selling chocolate frogs and fluffy Butterbeer, so sweet and smooth that you want to take a crate home 🧙♂️🪄 Then rush to Super Nintendo World, a new zone that is both cute and bright. We get to see the world of Mario in full view. There are smiling flower mushrooms, prize boxes, dancing trees, and "ding dong" sounds like in the game!! 🎮🍄 The highlight rides like The Flying Dinosaur made us scream until our throats hurt. So much fun!!! And the evening parade was so magnificent that we wanted to freeze time right there~ ⸻ ⛩️ Day 3 – Heal your heart at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine This morning, we asked to take a break from the rides. Then find peace at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, easily accessible from Namba by taking a special Japanese tram 🚋 A bright red shrine surrounded by ancient trees, with a beautiful curved wooden bridge like in a Japanese cartoon. We drew fortune sticks, praying for good health and smooth love (a little embarrassed) And our dream came true, a Japanese auntie walked by and smiled warmly 🥹🌸 Walking around the shrine, we found a shop selling traditional mochi. It was soft, sweet and fragrant, so smooth that we wanted to buy a bag back to Thailand~ 🍡💓 ⸻ 🛍️ Day 4 – Shop till you drop at Shinsaibashi & Kuromon Market If you ask, “What is there to do in Osaka?”, I have to say, “What is there to buy in Osaka!” Today, we stopped by Shinsaibashi, which is a center for fashion, souvenirs, and cosmetics. Everything! From Uniqlo, GU, cute shoe shops to Daiso and irresistible cosmetic shops! Then we walked to Kuromon Ichiba Market, a foodie’s paradise! We ate fresh giant crab legs that were so sweet and bouncy, big oysters that when you squeeze lemon on them, they were so delicious that you'd forget the world, fresh sushi, and big Japanese strawberries that were so sweet that you'd cry 🍓🦀🍣 ⸻ 🚃 Day 5 – Ending with a memorable Kyoto trip We woke up early and took the JR to Kyoto to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, which has thousands of red torii gates lined up. The atmosphere was so peaceful 🍁 While walking through the torii gates, it was like walking into another world full of hope, peace, and good energy 🎐 We returned to Osaka in the evening to pack our bags with souvenirs. We didn't forget to stop by Donki to buy some unusual KitKat flavors, cute character keychains, and Japanese inhalers for our friends to ask for. 🤭🎁 ⸻ 🩷 To summarize my feelings... Osaka is the word "missing" in terms of a city. 5 days and 4 nights passed by so quickly... I really don't want to go back yet. Osaka is a city that makes us smile every day, whether it's because of the delicious food, the lovely atmosphere, or the smiles from strangers walking by. 🫶🏼 This is the first time in Japan that we don't feel like tourists, but like people who have returned to visit a warm home. 💌 If you ask if I want to come back again?
