Temple of Two Hearts

Buddhist temple Isshin-ji, translated as "Temple of Two Hearts". Here we began our acquaintance with the temple and ritual culture of Japan. For me, this experience was a real discovery. For two hours, no less, we leisurely strolled through the territory of the temple and cemetery, admired the human being and absorbed the harmony that this place gives. In this regard, the Japanese have absolutely no equal in the world (however, as in thousands of other things). A magical place, a magical experience, a memory that will stay with me forever. What makes it special is the presence of several statues molded from the ashes of dead people mixed with resin. In total, over 140 years without a balcony, more than a million people were used to create the statue. In addition, the temple is notable for its very unusual gates, along the edges of which there are large menacing statues that combine ancient Greek satyrs and works of modernists. #osaka
