The Duku Highway is approximately 560 km long and crosses the Tianshan Mountains. In the 1960s, the People's Liberation Army soldiers fought against the severe cold and overcame numerous difficulties to build this highway. The highway is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and deserts, and the scenery is magnificent. The highest point of the highway is the Snow Crown Tianshan, which is more than 3,400 meters above sea level. The Duku Highway Museum records this memorable history.
