I finally got to experience the Duku Highway.

The Duku Highway, where "the weather changes every 10 miles and the seasons change every day," is a must-visit for many people. On this 561-kilometer-long Hero Road, there are majestic snow-capped mountains, deep and beautiful valleys, and rolling grasslands. I was lucky to have clear weather when I traveled the northern section of the Duku Highway. Along the way, I was amazed by the charm of nature and admired the greatness of the road builders. There are two points that impressed me the most, one is the green lake surrounded by peaks, and the other is the Wulu Tianshan Observation Deck. Looking from a distance, I was attracted by a green lake, like a pearl inlaid in the mountains. There is a parking lot next to the lake, where you can walk along the shore to the lake. The snow on the mountain is reflected on the water surface, like a white flower blooming in the green water, swaying in the lake in the wind. At the Wulu Tianshan Observation Deck, you can see the Duku Highway winding along the mountain wall, and the vehicles on the road are endless. If you have a drone, the aerial photography must be very beautiful. The winding road was built bit by bit by tens of thousands of builders after ten years of hard work. Their selfless dedication carries our current "poetry and the distance." Perhaps only those who have been to the Duku Highway can truly appreciate its charm. I was fortunate to have traveled the northern section, and next time I will check in the whole journey with my friends!
