Long Son Pagoda, Nha Trang, Vietnam

Long Son Pagoda is an ancient and the largest Mahayana Buddhist temple in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The temple is situated on a hill and is renowned for its massive white marble Buddha statue, which stands approximately 14 meters tall and weighs over 130 tons. The Buddha faces the sea, seated on a lotus base engraved with Thai inscriptions, surrounded by seven Arhat statues and a pair of dragons stretching over 7 meters long. In addition to the main Buddha statue, the temple grounds are adorned with various smaller statues and decorations. Visitors to Long Son Pagoda must climb 152 steps to reach the grand Buddha statue at the hilltop. This temple is a must-visit highlight in Nha Trang, not only for its stunning and majestic architecture but also for the breathtaking views of Nha Trang city and the sea from the hilltop.
