Visit the No-Handle Teapot Mountain Trail

The No-Handle Teapot Mountain Trail, also known as "Teapot Mountain," is a hiking trail suitable for short round trips. With an elevation of approximately 600 meters, the mountain gets its name from its teapot-like shape, lacking a handle, as seen from Jinguashi. The trailhead can be accessed from the Gold Museum or Quanji Temple. The path alternates between uphill and flat sections, which might be slightly challenging for those with less stamina. From the summit, hikers can enjoy stunning views of the Jinguashi mountains. Teapot Mountain is composed of silicified breccia sedimentary rock. From the eastern side of the summit, you can gaze out at the Pacific Ocean, look southward toward Banping Mountain, and admire Keelung Mountain and the Romantic Road. On another side, you can see the mesmerizing blue and yellow gradient of the Yin-Yang Sea. On the way down, a plane happened to fly by, offering a lucky chance to capture a scenic shot.
