Okinawa｜Conveniently located near the bus terminal, spacious rooms at Tokyu Rei Hotel.

Staying at different hotels during a trip is actually part of the fun. This time in Okinawa, I stayed at several hotels to experience their unique features. Among them, Tokyu Rei, a brand under the Tokyu chain known for its budget hotels, is located in Asahibashi and connected to the Prefectural Office Building. Its prime location right next to the Naha Bus Terminal makes it very convenient for traveling to places like Churaumi Aquarium, American Village, or the southern Gyokusendo Cave. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. However, as the hotel was built in 2009, signs of wear and tear in the guest rooms are noticeable. Since the hotel is surrounded by the bus terminal and the OPQ shopping mall, the rooms lack a view. The bathroom features a dry-wet separation design but only offers a shower. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the hotel provides Awamori (Okinawan liquor), and the drink bar is available until midnight. One of the drinks offered is a local Okinawan specialty, which is essentially Taiwan's roselle tea. The hotel entrance is somewhat peculiar. If you arrive from the bus station, you need to go through the parking lot on the first floor to find the main entrance.
