Manko Park, Cherry Blossoms Reflecting on the Lake

Manko Park in Naha is a tranquil oasis in the city. Every spring, the cold cherry blossoms bloom by the lake, adding a touch of dreamy color to the park. Walking along the lakeside path, cherry trees stretch along the water's edge, with pink flowers reflecting on the lake's surface. A gentle breeze stirs the water, creating ripples that bring this spring scene to life. Although the cherry blossoms in Manko Park are not as spectacular as those on Mount Yaedake, they offer a sense of serenity and tranquility, making it a perfect spot for locals to stroll and enjoy the flowers. I walked with the crowd, occasionally stopping to admire the low-hanging cherry branches and feel the petals gently fall into my palm. A few white egrets gracefully skimmed the lake, adding a poetic touch to the spring scenery. In the afternoon, I sat on a bench, savoring Okinawan brown sugar sweets while enjoying the pink and blue spring landscape before me. As the sun set, the afterglow cast a beautiful light on the cherry blossoms and the lake, making the scene even more enchanting and immersing me in this lakeside spring dream.
