Tips for returning from Nagaoka Fireworks Festival🎆

Recently, many friends are planning to go to Nagaoka to watch the fireworks festival on August 2nd and 3rd. The best way to travel to and from Tokyo on the same day is to take the JR Joetsu Shinkansen. The official website of the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival has announced the return JR timetable (pay special attention to the second table, heading to Tokyo). Considering the time when the fireworks festival ends and the time it takes to walk from the venue to Nagaoka Station, we mainly use the four trains after 21:30. Since there are so many people watching the fireworks display, Shinkansen tickets are in great demand. JR East Shinkansen tickets can be reserved one month in advance, either directly by booking Shinkansen tickets or through a purchased JR pass.
