Monaco Half-Day Tour

Monaco, the second smallest country in the world (only smaller than Vatican City), does not have its own airport. It takes about 30 minutes by train from Nice Airport, and you can also take a bus or drive yourself (not recommended due to limited parking). My eSIM unfortunately didn’t support Monaco 🥲, so I had no internet access upon arrival. Luckily, the country is small and its attractions are relatively concentrated. By following the road signs, we managed to complete a full loop of the sights. (There are plenty of restrooms here, most of which are free, and the main language spoken is French.) The train station is quite large, so pay close attention to the exits. Monaco is built on small hills, so walking around can be a bit tiring. We first headed to the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, where there’s an area to explore, including a church, museums, and more. You’ll see many tourists here, as it’s the only place with food stalls. Next, we walked along the F1 racing track by the coast, admiring luxurious yachts and sports cars speeding by. I imagine they’re here to experience the thrill of racing. We continued to the Monte Carlo Casino, where we encountered more tourists and high-end boutiques, witnessing a small area packed with wealthy individuals. Finally, we looped back to the train station. This entire journey, including walking, taking photos, and enjoying some drinks, took about 5 hours. 👍
