✝️A Beautiful Church✝️

After our lovely dinner on Lygon, Mummy took us to a beautiful little church in Melbourne's suburb of Fairfield. It's a Melkite Greek Catholic Church, a Middle Eastern (Antiochian) Catholic Church that's Orthodox in nature but is Catholic because of the communion they have with Rome since separating from the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch in 1724⛪ Most people who attend this church are from the Levant, hence the mass/liturgy being in Arabic. Arabic is a beautiful language but it sounds exceptionally beautiful when it's chanted in church. And the iconography is special in this church with its strong colours and detail.
