[Miyagi/Matsushima Hometown Cuisine Umechaya] A nighttime dining experience filled with kindness and deliciousness

We stopped off for dinner at Umechaya, a restaurant serving local cuisine in Matsushima. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has a warm atmosphere. An English menu is available for foreign tourists, so anyone can feel at ease. There are few restaurants open late in the Matsushima area, so this is a rare find. The tuna dishes in particular were excellent and extremely fresh! I also tried ginkgo nuts for the first time, which are a great snack to go with alcohol, and the aroma was irresistible. Umechaya, where you can enjoy local flavors, is the perfect spot to end your trip.
