The scenery created by the large and small islands floating in the blue sea was truly spectacular and soothing to the soul. When I went around the islands on a sightseeing boat, the view from the sea was even more beautiful, and I could feel the silence and power of nature. The town of Matsushima itself is calm, and there are historical temples and hot spring towns, making it the perfect place to relax. There is a wealth of cultural heritage, especially Zuiganji Temple and Godaido, and I felt that it was a place where I could discover new charms every time I visited. I was surrounded by the calm atmosphere and natural beauty of Matsushima, and I was able to refresh both my body and mind.
