Wat Pak U

At Ban Pak U, the temple opposite Tham Ting is an interesting old temple. The Ubosot of Wat Pak U was built in the 16th century. It was destroyed by ill-intended groups many times and has been restored many times as well. This church still maintains the Laotian architectural structure. It is still in its original condition. The walls of the Ubosot are painted with paintings about the life of the Buddha. They are newly painted after the last restoration. Even if they are newly painted, they are not as valuable as the original paintings. #historicculture
