Luxian Travel Guide

Calling all those heading to Luxian! Check out this guide! (One-day trip edition) || This guide is recommended for those who are already planning a trip to Luxian and want to explore the area. It's not recommended to make a special trip just for this. 🍃 ✨This time, we're visiting Luxian, a small county in Luzhou. It's an easy day trip there and back. 👌 🥰There's a direct high-speed train 🚄 from Chengdu East Station to Luxian, taking about an hour or so. The entire route is: Chengdu ➡️ Luxian ➡️ Luxian Stone Carving Museum ➡️ Yuchan Mountain ➡️ Longhu Wetland Park ➡️ Chengdu (For transportation within the city, you can take a taxi 🚗, which is affordable and readily available.) 📍Luxian Stone Carving Museum Free, 9:00-17:00, reservation required A niche museum 📖 housing a large collection of exquisite Song Dynasty stone carvings from Luxian. With two floors, ✨it boasts 14,000 artifacts, including 500 precious relics and an impressive 120 first-class relics! A must-see for those interested in stone carving culture and 🐉dragon culture. 🥳 You can also get a commemorative stamp here, so bring a small notebook. 📍Yuchan Mountain Tickets: 20/person, 9:00-17:00 Located near the museum, ⛰️the mountain is not high, and it takes about two hours to walk up and down. It's a relaxing hike. 🚶‍♀️In addition to the beautiful scenery, there are 400 existing Ming Dynasty stone carvings, including classic statues such as the "Thousand-Hand Guanyin" and "Enlightenment Picture." 👍The carvings are incredibly detailed. You can also visit the Yuchan Temple. At the top, there's a pavilion with a second floor offering a panoramic view of the county. 📍Longhu Wetland Park Free This park near the high-speed rail station seems newly built. It's large and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stroll after a meal. (Luxian also has attractions such as 🐉Longnao Bridge, Qifeng Aqueduct, Qu Family Manor, and Daolin Valley. If you have time, you can choose to visit them.) 🍖Food We recommend a restaurant in Luxian called "Secret Duck Neck." That's the name of the restaurant. The duck neck is delicious! Crispy and fragrant, 🦆unlike the usual soft texture of duck necks. It's a great snack. They usually open at 2:30pm. If you go, be sure to bring some home. Highly recommended! Holiday Travel Guide
