The Original Farmers Market is a large area of food stalls and markets that opened in 1934. It has over 100 vendors and offers one of the widest ranges of food in the LA area, and its famous for this freshness. You can get everything from Coffee and doughnuts to BBQ ribs and even home made ice cream. There’s plenty of communal seating so you’re able to pick food from different places and eat together as a group, I managed to get coffee, a sandwich and cake from the different places to make my own combo meal. For me the cinnamon roll and brownies from sweetheart cafe were the best I’ve ever had! There are toilets, cash machines and places to wash your hands - the area itself is beautifully maintained and cleaned and the vendors clearly take great pride in their business!
