However, this is not necessary in Liyang, nor is it possible. The day I went, Tianmu Lake was overcast, and the climate in southern China in winter is generally not very pleasant. The lead-gray clouds hung low over the lake, as if one could reach out and touch the humid water vapor. The shadows of the mountains in the distance were so faint that they seemed to melt into the clouds, leaving only a vague outline. It was so cold that even the usual water birds were nowhere to be seen. The lake water was a deep emerald green, like an unpolished jade. Due to the strong wind, it lay restlessly among the mountains. Occasionally, a few raindrops fell and disappeared into the lake. Walking slowly along the lake, the fallen leaves underfoot made a soft rustling sound. The air was filled with the scent of damp soil and a faint fragrance of grass and trees. The mountains in the distance were faintly visible in the mist, like an unfinished ink painting. As the sky darkened, a thin layer of mist rose from the lake. The mist slowly rose and merged with the low-hanging clouds, shrouding the entire lake in a hazy veil. The lights in the distance gradually lit up, casting a warm glow in the mist. Everyone is looking forward to the spring in Jiangsu, but nature doesn't have to be sunny. Everything is as I see it.
