Liyang, Jiangsu | An Underrated Autumn Destination

|An underrated autumn destination. I have to hand it to the people of Jiangsu for keeping this place a secret! Such a relaxing city, and they kept it hidden away. Autumn in Jiangsu is a kaleidoscope of colors. My friend and I spent two days wandering around Liyang. It's a niche destination, but there's plenty to do. Here's a self-driving route for you: Day 1: Start from Liyang Station and head to Shitang to experience the artistic atmosphere of the village. Walden Bookstore is also there. Then head to Tianlu, a road with raised ends. Take a low-angle shot and it looks like it leads straight to the sky. The lake beside it is full of autumn colors, so don't miss it. Then head to Zheliyicang, where you can eat, drink, and experience cultural and creative handicrafts. Then head to Fang Suo Cultural Park, where the unique bridges and buildings are amazing, and the night view is even more spectacular. Finally, return to the hotel to rest. Day 2: First, go to Tianmu Lake Shanshui Garden, where you can hike and enjoy the landscape paintings, colorful trees, and take a boat to watch the sunset. Beautiful. Then go to Bao'en Zen Temple to experience the tranquility and peace. Then head to Nanshan Bamboo Sea, where you can spend an afternoon riding the train to see pandas, learn about bamboo culture, and take the cable car to see the beautiful scenery at the top of the mountain.
