Yuqan Dongyue Temple, Lingchuan County, Shanxi

Yuqan Dongyue Temple has 13 single buildings, with the most important being the mountain gate and the main hall, as well as the worship hall and side rooms. The temple has only one courtyard, covering an area of about 4,340 square meters, facing south, with the mountain gate, worship hall, and main hall on the central axis, and the watchtower, corridor, and side hall on the east and west sides. There are steps and a moon platform in front of the mountain gate, with the bell tower on the left side of the mountain gate, the Zen courtyard behind it, and three Zen rooms on the west side of the moon platform. The mountain gate is a Ming Dynasty building, with three rooms wide and four rafters deep.
