St. George Church Ethiopia

#Overseas travel It dates back to the late 12th or early 13th century AD and is one of the 11 most famous churches in the Lalibela region (it looks prettier because it has a carved roof and no protective tent like the others) According to Ethiopian cultural history, it was built after King Gebre Meskel Lalibela had a vision where he was instructed by St. George and God to build a church. We visited it very early in the morning. (6:30-7:00 AM) to also see the morning prayer. If you don't get there at that time, you won't be able to reach the sea until this celebration ends around 8:30 AM. Also, you will see more tourists (which we found throughout the trip), so Rico wakes up early and enjoys the full experience!
