There is such a remarkable mountain near Beijing, grand and majestic, situated at the northernmost end of the Taihang Mountains, named for its abundance of white marble. It is the 【Hebei Laiyuan Baishi Mountain】 👉Baishi Mountain Geopark, the choice for summer cooling and mountain climbing 👉Located at the northernmost end of the Taihang Mountains, with a unique white marble peak forest landform 👉The mountain is tall, the head of the Taihang, with a long mountain ridge line, offering a rich variety of routes at the summit 👉High altitude, the peak of Buddha's Light is 2096 meters, with a high vegetation coverage rate, a natural oxygen bar, offering a unique coolness 【Itinerary】 🚗Self-drive Baishi Mountain is located in Laiyuan County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Depart from Beijing at 12:00 - arrive at 【Baishi Mountain Scenic Area】 around 15:00, covering approximately 210 kilometers, a 3-hour drive (if a day trip is not enough, it is recommended to stay overnight) 🏕️Accommodation After arriving at Baishi Mountain, take the cable car from the east gate to the 【Freedom Family Campsite】 inside the scenic area to check in (accommodation includes tickets and round-trip cableway). In the afternoon, take beautiful photos at the campsite, then wait for the sunset, and get up at 5:00 the next morning to watch the sunrise at the campsite. It must be said that the sunrise and sunset at the campsite were a great surprise! ⛰️Mountain Climbing (with detailed route map 2️⃣) Route: Three routes, almost parallel, on the upper, middle, and lower parts of the mountain, with different heights and sceneries 🧡Feihu Gorge Route (altitude 1600 meters) The cliff cafe and double-deck glass corridor are here; walking from the east gate's Leek Garden down the mountain, or climbing up from the God of Taihang to the east gate, this route has cable cars at both ends, and you can choose based on your physical strength; a level view of the mountain forest 💙Shuangxiong Stone Route (altitude 1900 meters) Flat sections, rock wall plank roads; overlooking the entire mountain forest 💚Buddha's Light Peak Route (altitude 2096 meters) A physically challenging route, with not much scenery along the way, the summit is the head of the Taihang 1️⃣After breakfast at the campsite at 7:30 in the morning, take a short rest 2️⃣At 9:00, walk for 10 minutes from the campsite to Xiangyun Gate and then to Leek Garden to start climbing 3️⃣We chose the 【Shuangxiong Stone-Feihu Gorge Tour Line】, the whole loop took about 6 hours, and we could see almost all the attractions 4️⃣Around 13:00, arrive at 【Nature's Corner Cafe】 5️⃣After a one and a half hour break, start descending the mountain at 14:30 6️⃣At 16:00, take the cable car to Leek Garden, then go to the campsite to collect luggage 7️⃣At 16:30, take the cable car (or scenic area bus) to the east gate of the scenic area 8️⃣Return to Beijing at 17:00 ⚠️Note: There is a large temperature difference between morning and evening on the mountain, with the lowest temperature around 11 degrees Celsius.
