A ryokan-styled hostel in Kyoto

#hostellife This was the hostel that impressed and surprised me the most during my trip to Kyoto December 2024. Not knowing beforehand, it turned out to be a modernized ryokan styled hostel. It is equipped with a hot public pool for bath, and a large clean comfy brightly-lit washroom with almost every amenity that one needs. I can’t say how much I appreciated it. And just like other traditional ryokan, there’s a common area for those to chill after taking a hot bath, where there are snacks for replenishment. But that is supplied till 1am if not mistaken. Though this place is not the closest or conveniently connected to the heart of Kyoto, but it is a lodging place I’d go back to next time in Kyoto.
