A wooden feel Japanese hostel in Kyoto

#hostellife December 2024, I decided to join my family trip at Japan secretly. But because I’m not usually a fan of spending big bucks on hotel, I decided to look for some hostel options near the hotel my family lodged, which was in sanjo area. And I found this great fit. I managed to book it around RM70; and with some power of cashback platforms, I further lowered the damage to RM50/night. Which I personally found utterly impressive for a stay in Kyoto. Coz this wasn’t just any ordinary hostel. It’s a big brand that has hostels across the nation and thus reliable. And facilities-wise, there’s free luggage storage (a feature that more accommodation are starting to cancel), and the common areas are vibey to chill at. The bed was also quite the comfiest and cleanest one can get.
