The sake selection is particularly impressive, and if you let them know your preferences, they'll recommend a drink and bring it to you. 🍶 Here's what the course menu for this day consisted of: 👇 ──[Appetizers]── ・Cold corn soup ・Stone-baked bluefin tuna and flounder liver ・Baby corn, karasumi, and abalone liver tossed in a salad ・Edamame and cheese fried fish cakes ・Fried young sweetfish with green laver ・Takowasa (octopus with wasabi) ・Mink whale ・Hamo chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) The cold soup was rich and creamy, with the sweet corn filling making it the perfect summer dish. 🌽 The sashimi, featuring thick bluefin tuna and flounder liver, was impressive, as it was my first time trying it. It was smooth, rich, and melted in my mouth. 💕 The assortment was beautifully presented, and even the tableware and hydrangea garnish were perfectly seasonal. 💗 The baby corn was grilled to perfection and topped with karasumi (dried mullet roe). The abalone liver salad was rich and flavorful, and each dish was meticulously prepared. 👏 The edamame and cheese satsumaage had melted cheese inside. The aroma and richness of the cheese were a perfect match, making it a perfect pairing with sake! The young sweetfish was crispy and coated in a nori seaweed batter, and the aroma of the nori seaweed wafted through every bite. ✨ The minke whale was moist, lean, and easy to eat. ☺️ The conger eel chawanmushi was luxuriously filled with plump conger eel and a gentle flavor permeated with the umami of the dashi broth. The colorful rice crackers scattered on top made for a gorgeous presentation. ✨ ──[Sushi]── ・Mongo squid ・Shrimp ・Golden-eyed snapper ・Lean meat ・Fatty tuna ・White eel ・Simmered conger eel ・Sea urchin and salmon roe gunkan ・Fatty tuna roll The sushi was served at a steady pace, and each piece was incredibly delicious! The Mongo squid had a sticky texture accented with the aroma of sesame salt. ☺️ The shrimp was intensely sweet and melt-in-your-mouth rich. 💕 The golden-eyed snapper was sizzling, bringing out the sweetness of its fat! The lean meat and fatty tuna were a luxurious experience to compare. Both had distinct flavors, and the moment the fatty tuna oozed through my mouth was irresistible. 🩵 The white eel was fluffy and exquisitely salty with a subtle aroma. The simmered conger eel had a perfectly balanced, crispy skin and fragrant, tender flesh! The sea urchin and salmon roe gunkan was absolutely decadent. The fatty tuna roll that we finished with was more filling than we'd imagined—it was almost too much to eat in one bite! We finished with miso soup, which was also delicious and comforting. 💗 It was a very satisfying course. 🙌 . . . . And of course, the highlight of the meal was the 2.5-hour all-you-can-drink option! Everyone kept refilling their drinks, especially the sake, which paired perfectly with the sushi. ✨️ For just 10,000 yen, it was honestly an amazing value. ☺️ ✔ The restaurant has eight counter seats and a private room.
