Ancient stone monuments in the style of Hindu religious buildings. The castle was built of sandstone and laterite in the style of Khmer art, Khlang-Bapuan style, during the 15th-16th Buddhist century. The plan of the castle outside is a red stone wall, approximately 127 meters long. The main entrance is a gopura or gate on the east side, made of sandstone. Through the gopura, you will find a U-shaped moat surrounding the castle, approximately 20 meters wide. Further in is a covered gallery surrounding the castle, approximately 42.5 meters long. There is a gopura in the middle of the covered gallery wall on all four sides. This castle faces east. According to the Khmer belief, the east is the direction of light and auspiciousness, while the west is the direction of death. In addition, the castle plan also reflects the belief in the universe of Hinduism, with Mount Sumeru in the center, surrounded by a huge ring of water. The main prang is like Mount Sumeru, surrounded by pillars as a perimeter, indicating that it is the most sacred area. In front of the main prang, at the corner of the covered gallery, are two libraries. It is assumed to be a place for storing scriptures.
