Beautiful winter mountains

📍Iyo Fuji Frost Festival This majestic mountain is symbolized by the name "Fuji." Although the summit is not wide, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of Mt. Ishizuchi, the Seto Inland Sea, and the Akaishi mountain range. While many of the local Fujis throughout Japan are independent peaks and are named after Mt. Fuji because of their resemblance to the mountain, Iyo Fuji is just one peak in the Ishizuchi mountain range, but it has a gentle slope on the west side and can resemble Mt. Fuji depending on the direction you look at it. The scenery covered in frost on this day was so mystical. It was hard to climb and come back, but we were able to see a spectacular view that made it worth the effort. I don't recommend it for those who are not used to climbing mountains, but it was a spectacular view that can only be seen on special days during the winter. #0 yen tripFebruary 2025
