Exploring the Charm of Nanxun Ancient Town

It felt like stepping into a place where locals run small shops, making it genuinely lively and full of life. My friends and I enjoyed tea and conversations, soaking in the atmosphere. The town offers a variety of attractions, from Huizhou-style buildings with grey bricks and black tiles to Jiangnan gardens like Xiaolian Villa, and even Republic-era architecture such as Jiaye Library and Liu’s Ladder. Driving from Hangzhou to Nanxun's South Gate took just over an hour. Weekend parking can be tight, so we used nearby parking lots. The highlight was Baijianlou, the essence of Nanxun. Whether day or night, this spot offers perfect photo opportunities and a truly immersive experience.
