Wandering Around Tai Tam Reservoir

#chinatravel Tai Tam Reservoir in the Southern District of Hong Kong is such a solid spot if you're down for an easy nature escape without leaving the city. I randomly decided to check it out one weekend and honestly didn’t expect much, but it totally surprised me. Super peaceful, barely crowded, and the air actually smells like trees instead of traffic. The trail around the reservoir is super chill. Not too steep or crazy, just a nice long walk with views of the water, old stone bridges, and loads of greenery. It’s perfect if you’re not trying to break a sweat but still want to feel like you did something outdoorsy. Also, huge bonus, the vibes are way quieter than most HK parks. You’ll run into some joggers and dog walkers but it’s mostly calm. Bring snacks, wear comfy shoes, and just vibe with the scenery. Tai Tam is lowkey awesome.
