Must-try Authentic Korean Cuisine at OPPA Coffee Bar Restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui

Korean cuisine is one of my favorite types of food, so I visited OPPA Coffee Bar Restaurant on Kimberley Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. The restaurant's owner and head chef, who hails from Busan, incorporates his mother's recipes and hometown flavors into many of the dishes, offering a taste of authentic Korean home-style cooking. 😍 Upon entering the restaurant, I was impressed by its stylish design, featuring cement walls and K-Pop music playing in the background 🎶, making me feel as if I were in Korea! 📋 Looking at the menu, I found a variety of unique and authentic Korean dishes, including Hong Kong's first-ever egg lava fried rice, authentic Korean fried chicken, Korean-style hot pots, as well as cheese omelets, Korean pancakes, gimbap, Korean ramen, stir-fried glass noodles, and more. Every dish looked tempting. 🍗 Sweet and Spicy Boneless Fried Chicken - $208 I opted for the boneless fried chicken, which had a rich and flavorful taste. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a crispy exterior. The sweet and spicy sauce on the outside added a mildly sweet and spicy flavor, making it incredibly satisfying. The restaurant uses a special technique to fry the chicken, ensuring it is not greasy but remains juicy and crispy. Paired with crispy fries, this dish is highly recommended! 🦑 Korean Chive and Seafood Pancake (Large) - $160 I loved the Korean pancake here. In addition to seafood, it also contained plenty of vegetables, giving it a refreshing texture that wasn't greasy. The seafood was fresh and sweet, with squid and clam meat that were delightfully chewy. The pancake was crispy and delicious, and dipping it in Korean-style sauce made it even more flavorful. 🥤 Coke - $26 On a hot day, I ordered two cans of Coke. They were ice-cold and refreshing, perfect for cooling down. 🥤 Grape Juice - $25 The grape juice had a unique aroma and flavor, with just the right level of sweetness.
