Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill at Harbor City

Took a half-day off on a weekday to spend time with my parents. They wanted to take the Star Ferry, enjoy the sea breeze, and then stroll around Harbor City in Tsim Sha Tsui before having a meal. After walking for a while, they spotted Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill. They mentioned that the restaurant has been around as long as Harbor City itself, making it iconic and nostalgic, so they decided to dine there. We noticed the CHICAGO SET, which allows each person to customize their meal. However, since American portions are large, two sets were more than enough for the three of us. The clam chowder was rich, creamy, and flavorful, with chunks of clam meat. The signature Caesar salad was crisp and fresh. Slow-roasted imported baby back ribs (half portion) $328 The meat was tender, flavorful, and fell off the bone. The dish also came with irresistible fries and refreshing coleslaw to balance the richness. FISH AND CHIPS $268 Even my mom, who usually avoids fried food, wanted to try the fried fish. The fish was served in large, crispy pieces with a thin batter that wasn’t overly thick. The fish itself was tender and smooth, and the cherry pepper tartar sauce added a delightful kick. The dish also came with fries. DESSERT options included American-style ice cream sundae or brownie.
