The roadside station "Shiosai Market Hofu" has the theme of "fish and flavors that can only be found here." At the roadside station, there are shops that sell not only seafood but also specialties of Yamaguchi and Hofu, and the tenants are lined with seafood specialty shops. The Yamaguchi Prefectural Fisheries Association and the Fish Square Information Center are also located on the premises, so if you go early in the morning, you can see lots of fresh fish. There is a photo spot for "Hamoranger" near the entrance, so be sure to check it out! The location is also wonderful, facing Mount Taihei, and from the observation deck you can see all the way to Kyushu's "Himeshima". Opening hours are from 9am to 6pm.
