This art museum in Finland is like bubbles rising from the ground in the square

Amos Rex Museum, a large cultural facility and public space located underground beneath the Lasipalatsi building, a landmark from the 1930s in downtown Helsinki. This museum was previously selected by the BBC as one of the most innovative new architectural spaces in Europe in 2018. The permanent Impressionist painting exhibition has become a kind of afterglow, hidden in windowless rooms. The large column-free hangar is divided into black and white sections. On the surface, people climb the earthen mounds and peek through windows at the new culture inside the museum. The architects hope their slanted architectural landscape can become a gathering place for outdoor concerts and events. Although there are actually no performances there, it has already become a magnet in the city center, attracting people from all directions to come closer.
