Not too difficult, but the scenery is absolutely top-notch. Along the way, you'll be accompanied by the crisp songs of birds, like a symphony of nature. 🌿**Recommended Classic Route: Tianmu Twin Peaks Loop** Yaowang Peak + Thousand-Mu Field, about 12 km in total with 900 meters of elevation gain. Fit hikers can finish in 5 hours, while most people take no more than 7 hours. It’s the perfect weekend getaway to relax and recharge! 📍**Navigation & Route Choice:** Set your GPS to **Feilengcui Homestay**. There are parking spots near the trailhead. Alternatively, you can navigate to **Taoran New Residence**, but it’s highly recommended to hike the route **clockwise** from Taoran New Residence toward Feilengcui! Don’t go counterclockwise—otherwise, the long "stone wave" descent at Thousand-Mu Field will become a grueling uphill climb. Trust me, you don’t want that—it’s exhausting! 🗺 **Detailed Trail Conditions (check the comments for GPS tracks):** 1. Start near Feilengcui, walk a short stretch of road to the official trailhead. 2. Then comes the lung-busting steep climb—about 1 km with 400+ meters of elevation gain. You’ll need some stamina here. 3. Next, you’ll enter a tractor path with continuous ups and downs. The grass growing alongside now adds a wild charm to the scenery. 4. After scrambling up a few rocky slopes (hands and feet required), you’ll reach the summit of Yaowang Peak! A bit further ahead is the main peak of Thousand-Mu Field. 5. The most patience-testing part is the famous "stone wave" descent—steep and rocky, so watch your step and take it slow. This section can take a while. 6. Once safely down, turn left and follow the loop back, descending until you reach Taoran New Residence, then take the road downhill.
