Dongjing Yaozu Township

Dongjing Village, Guilin, ancient dwellings on the national highway Today, I went from Guilin to Jiangyong and found an ancient village on the way. I had not planned to go into the village, but since it was right next to the national highway and there were parking spaces on the side of the road, I would have felt bad if I didn't stop and take a look, so when I went in, I was pleasantly surprised. Dongjing Village, formerly known as Guiyue Village, is located in Dongjing Yao Ethnic Township, Guanyang County, Guilin City. It was once prosperous because it is located on the Hunan-Guangxi Ancient Road. The houses are arranged along both sides of the ancient road and surrounded by a stream. The ancient village combines the characteristics of Hui-style architecture and Yao ethnic minority houses in northern Guangxi. The ancient dwellings are well preserved and there are few tourists. The ginkgo trees are bright yellow these days, adding a bit of bright color. (2023/11/30) Ginkgo trees are turning yellow. Where to go for a weekend trip?
