I declare! Gibraltar is the god of European travel!

I was originally just passing through Gibraltar, but I was unexpectedly blown away by its beauty. This trip was truly like opening a blind box, full of surprises, and I have to share it with you! 🗺️Itinerary Day 1: Arrived in Gibraltar in the morning and took the bus to the hotel to check in. The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, making it super convenient to get around. After dropping off my luggage, I walked to the Rock of Gibraltar Nature Reserve. The Barbary macaques inside are so cute! They're not afraid of people at all, but be careful not to let them snatch anything from your hands. I spent about 3 hours here. Day 2: Took a taxi to Europa Point early in the morning to watch the incredibly beautiful sunrise. Standing at the southernmost point of continental Europe, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other, the feeling was magical. After watching the sunrise, I went to the nearby Moorish Castle to experience the charm of history, spending about 2 hours there. In the afternoon, I took the cable car back to the city center to stroll around and experience the local customs. 🌟Highlights The monkeys at the Rock of Gibraltar Nature Reserve are truly a unique feature, leaping and bounding among the rocks, full of energy. The sea view at Europa Point is unbeatable, and any photo of the sea and sky meeting the horizon can be used as wallpaper! The Moorish Castle has a rich historical atmosphere, and walking through it feels like traveling back in time. 🍱Food Recommendations I highly recommend The Rock Hotel, which is near the Rock of Gibraltar Nature Reserve. Their paella is a must-try! Every grain of rice is soaked in delicious broth, and the shrimp and shellfish are incredibly fresh. Each bite is super satisfying. The local fish and chips are also excellent, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Paired with a special sauce, they're so good you won't be able to stop eating them. 🏨Accommodation Experience I stayed at the Caleta Hotel Gibraltar, which has an excellent location. You can see the beautiful bay right outside the door. The room was spacious and bright, decorated with local flair. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly at night. The staff at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helped me find many fun places to visit. ⚠️Important Notes If you're taking the cable car to the Rock of Gibraltar Nature Reserve, try to avoid peak hours, as the wait times can be long. Gibraltar is quite hot in the summer, so take sun protection measures, such as bringing sunscreen and a sun hat. Also, while you can use euros in many places, some small shops may only accept pounds, so it's best to prepare some in advance. Gibraltar truly surprised me in so many ways. Every view and every bite of food was captivating. I sincerely recommend everyone to come and experience it. I believe you'll also fall in love with this hidden gem. Start planning your trip now!
