Forest Feels & Cloudy Peaks

#summervacay Headed out to Gwaebangsan in Gangneung, and wow, what a vibe. It’s not super famous or packed, which made it even better. The trail kicks off with thick forest, super green, super peaceful, birds chirping like it’s their concert. The path gradually climbs, nothing too crazy, but enough to get the heart pumping. I took my time, stopped to breathe in that fresh mountain air (seriously, it hits different). Midway up, there were a couple open spots where you could peek out and catch glimpses of Gangneung and the sea far off, like nature giving you sneak previews. At the top, I was lucky to catch some clouds rolling by, all moody and dramatic. It wasn’t a crystal-clear view, but it felt like being inside a painting. So cool. I chilled with some kimbap, had a quiet moment, and felt totally recharged. If you want calm forest energy with just the right amount of adventure, Gwaebangsan’s got your back. Totally underrated!
