Sumida Park

Sumida Park offers a fantastic combination of cherry blossoms and a view of Tokyo Skytree. The park stretches along both sides of the Sumida River, with hundreds of sakura trees creating a gorgeous riverside landscape. It’s a great spot for both picnicking and walking, with plenty of space to sit under the trees and enjoy the scenery. One of the highlights here is the boat cruises along the Sumida River, where you can see the cherry blossoms from the water—highly recommended for a unique perspective! In the evenings, the trees are illuminated, and the reflection of Tokyo Skytree on the water makes for an unforgettable view. Compared to Ueno Park, it’s a bit less crowded, making it a more relaxing hanami experience.
