Jiangxi Dexing Tailings Lake, the largest in Asia and the second largest copper mine in the world!

Dexing Tailings Lake is located near the Dexing Copper Mine in Dexing City, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. The lake water presents various brilliant colors under the sunlight. From an aerial view, it is breathtakingly beautiful, and any casual shot can produce stunning photos. When you come to Dexing, you must not miss Wulao Fruit. This is a special snack made with mountain fern powder as the skin, wrapped with fillings such as tofu, winter bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts. It has a soft and glutinous texture and a delicious taste. There is also Fa Gao, which is as white as jade, with fine pores like needles. It smells fragrant and tastes sweet but not greasy. There are two attractions to visit: 1. Concentrator: Take off right at the factory gate, which is relatively close to the area covered by the colors of the tailings lake. Highly recommended. Be careful of the surrounding wires when taking off. 2. Xiyuanling Viewing Platform: This is a high point with a very good view and is also relatively close to the mining area. You can take many beautiful photos nearby, but when flying to the tailings lake area, the flight route will have mountain obstructions that block the signal. It is recommended to bring a 4G module. 1. If you are driving, just navigate to the above locations. 2. If you are taking the high-speed train, you can take it to Shangrao Station and rent a car to go there, or take it to Dexing Station and hire a taxi for a round trip. Since Dexing Station is forty to fifty kilometers away from Dexing City and only ten to twenty kilometers away from the copper mine, it will be more time-saving and labor-saving to hire a car directly from the high-speed train station. 3.
