Stay｜Sunlit Golden Mountain｜Ji Xia Shan Meili SUNYATA

During this trip to Shangri-La, I had the privilege of staying one night at the renowned Ji Xia Shan Meili. Witnessing the sunlit golden mountain with my own eyes left a lasting impression. Ji Xia Shan Meili is located at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain in Yunnan, offering spectacular alpine views. Opened in 2021, the hotel features around 50 guest rooms. Its design combines local ethnic characteristics with modern minimalism, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The hotel's viewing platform is a must-visit spot, providing expansive views of the majestic Meili Snow Mountain. What surprised me most during my stay was the enthusiastic and proactive service from the staff, making me feel truly welcomed. In the evening, the hotel even served delicious sweet soup, adding a touch of warmth to the experience. The room design was cozy, and the bedding was relatively comfortable. Of course, the snow-capped mountain view outside the window alone was worth 95% of the price. However, the restaurant's food was rather average and not particularly outstanding. If you can secure a reservation, this place is definitely worth experiencing for a night. Unobstructed views of the magnificent Meili Snow Mountain make for an unforgettable journey.
