Strolling through Datong Ancient City, reminiscing the glorious past

I have visited Datong many times, always in a rush. This time, I have the leisure to slow down and savor the charm of this ancient capital. Datong Ancient City is now well-developed, with very clean and tidy streets, boasting one of the best sanitary environments. The restrooms in Datong Ancient City are the most luxurious I have seen outside of hotels and office buildings. It shows that the entire ancient city is very well-maintained. There are also many affordable accommodations in the surrounding area. As for the food, it goes without saying that Northerners will feel at home in Datong. The cuisine in Datong is quite distinctive in the North, especially the noodles, and there's a delicious snack called liangfen that you must try when visiting Datong. 😀Σ( ° △ °|||)︴ In Datong city, you can also visit Huayan Temple, which is not far from the Nine-Dragon Wall, both located within Datong Ancient City. I like the couplet at the entrance, as shown in picture four. The walls of Datong Ancient City are very long and high, and the construction is impressive. (￣_,￣ )
