#summervacay Goljeongji Pond is a picturesque, historically rich reservoir located in Myeoncheon-eup, Dangjin-si, South Korea. Originally constructed in the late 18th century under the supervision of Park Ji-won, a renowned Silhak scholar of the Joseon Dynasty, the pond was designed to provide irrigation for local farmlands. Park Ji-won also commissioned the construction of the Geongonilchojeong Pavilion on an artificial island within the pond, accessible via a stone bridge .
