Stay in a suite at the Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Cusco

This time, we stayed at the Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, in downtown Cusco. Directly across from the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), the location was perfect. 🌟 Titanium Member Benefits As a Marriott Titanium member, I enjoyed some very thoughtful perks: Suite upgrade: The room was spacious and comfortable, blending colonial and Inca influences. High ceilings, vintage wood furnishings, and soft lighting created a warm and elegant ambiance. Free breakfast: The buffet had a wide selection, from fresh fruit and freshly made egg dishes to Andean specialties. Late check-out: This provided a sense of ease amidst the high-altitude travel pace. 🎂 Birthday Surprise Most memorable was the birthday gift the hotel prepared: A delicate little cake with birthday wishes written on it. A handwritten card added a warm touch. The room also had small, special touches that completed the birthday atmosphere. Spending my birthday in this ancient highland city with such thoughtful arrangements was a real bonus. 🛏️ Room and Facilities The suite's design combines a sense of history with comfort, with walls retaining the ancient stone foundation and a view of Cusco's streets from the window.
