Humantay Lake - Glacial and Turquoise 💚

The lakes in Peru are just another level! Humantay Lake is a stunning glacial lake located in the Peruvian Andes. The lake is surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, the turquoise waters of the lake make for a breathtaking sight! You can take a day trip from Cusco and hike to the lake, which is situated at an elevation of 4,200 meters. I personally joined the Salkantay trek, and this lake is the first thing we see on the trek! The trek offers incredible views of the surrounding landscape and is suitable for most fitness levels.
