Zaozilan Ya Trail in Yuzhong District: 430 Meters of Mountain City Memories in a "Time Tunnel"

Located on Zaozilan Ya Main Street in Lianglukou, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, the Zaozilan Ya Trail is a distinctive mountain city walkway connecting the upper and lower halves of the city, stretching about 430 meters in total. It consists of 288 steps and includes two sections: "In Time" and "Slow Past · Zaoer Alley Trail." The trail is themed around "time travel," featuring colorful tile mosaics and hand-painted graffiti, combined with vintage items like sewing machines and Shancheng brand watches, alongside modern symbols such as Jiefangbei and the Yangtze River Cableway, blending old and new elements. The steps are paved with rainbow-colored mosaic tiles creating dynamic visual effects like "rail transit tracks" and "cable cars." On a clear afternoon, the dappled light and shadows make it a perfect spot for photos. The trail starts near "Yifei Hotpot" and ends at the Linhua Road No. 22 community. Nearby are the old-style cement slides at the Youth Palace, and it also leads to the old gates of Bashu School and the former site of the Sino-French School, with the entire route full of the lively atmosphere of the mountain city.
