Chongqing Guangyang Island: An Ecological Poem in the Heart of the Yangtze River

Nestled within the picturesque Yangtze River landscape of Chongqing's urban area, Guangyang Island is a green gem shimmering amidst the waves. In spring, the rapeseed fields of Gaofeng Terrace transform into a golden sea; in autumn, the gentle breeze of Shengli Grassland carries the fragrance of vegetation. From the island's high points, one can admire the majestic river views of Tongluo Gorge on one side and the bustling skyline of Chongqing's urban area on the other, where ecological tranquility and urban vitality coexist harmoniously. As a pioneering base for the "Green Mountains and Clear Waters Are Gold and Silver Mountains" initiative, Guangyang Island is not only Chongqing's ecological backyard but also an important window showcasing the achievements of Yangtze River ecological conservation to the world.
