Nestled in Jinyun Mountain, Chongqing's most expensive hotel!

In my opinion, the Banyan Tree Chongqing Beibei is the most beautiful urban resort hotel in Chongqing, bar none. My first stop in Chongqing was a drive from the city center, up winding mountain roads, and further into the mountains. Continuing down the road, I arrived at Bei Hot Spring, where the Banyan Tree is located. 1. As the car entered Jinyun Mountain, I began to imagine the Banyan Tree's riverside complex. Despite having done some research beforehand, I couldn't help but envision its secluded and tranquil setting. Upon arriving at the parking lot, a golf cart to the hotel lobby was already waiting. Like all the guest rooms, the hotel lobby faces the Jialing River, with views of the verdant mountains. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring every visible scene into view. Surrounded by lush greenery on all sides, the lobby offers a picturesque experience. 2. This is the hotel's unique geographical advantage, using the renowned "Jinyun Clouds" of Jinyun Mountain as the best backdrop, and the rushing Jialing River and lush mountains as a beautiful foreground. The hotel itself is hidden here, arranged in a row along the mountain, staggered and understated, revealing endless tranquility and a strong scholarly and poetic atmosphere. 3. As the earliest resort boutique hotel to settle in Bei Hot Spring at the foot of Jinyun Mountain, Banyan Tree Chongqing not only enjoys the scenery but also continues the human history. The harmonious coexistence with the Hot Spring Temple and the restoration and maintenance of the former capital's Ming Building have added weight to this secluded resort residence. 4. The hotel has a total of 31 independent residences, all carefully designed and protected by John Heah, an internationally renowned design master who has created Aman hotels and Four Seasons Resort Bali. With the perfect combination of sky, waterfront, land, vegetation, and mountains as the design theme, the hotel buildings are cleverly integrated into nature, making the Banyan Tree Chongqing, which is surrounded by mountains and rivers, seem to grow in the soil, originating from nature and returning to nature, with profound connotation but without any display. 5. The dining at Banyan Tree Chongqing is also excellent, with great taste and presentation. When staying at the hotel, you should also enjoy the afternoon tea here. Tea is one of the most important elements of traditional Chinese culture, and tea (Pu'er tea) is also one of the biggest features of Banyan Tree. Therefore, each room has a set of Banyan Tree's customized exquisite tea sets, filled with the warmth of Banyan Tree Pu'er. The boutique corridor in the hotel lobby building is also a good place to taste tea. 6. Speaking of pure natural hot springs, I have to mention the public hot spring pools of Banyan Tree Chongqing, which has 26 uniquely styled pools. Banyan Tree arranges, builds, diverts, and maintains the natural hot springs surrounded by mountain streams, birds, and flowers according to the principles of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements, and combines them with geography and legends, vividly interpreting a health-themed leisure method, which can only be described as ultimate and beautiful. Even the changing and resting spaces are elegantly decorated. 7. I enjoyed the purest and most beautiful hot spring of Banyan Tree Chongqing in my own river-view duplex suite. This suite not only has an indoor soaking pool but also an outdoor one, plus a small swimming pool. I like to soak in the indoor hot spring before going to bed at night. Outside the window are warm candlelight and the sound of gurgling water. Sometimes I take a bath during the day and take a nap, which is extremely perfect. 8. Then, the first thing I do every day when I wake up is to remotely control the curtains, first take a look at the green mountains, and then play a song with the BOSE speaker. BOSE speakers, coffee machines, etc. are standard equipment of Banyan Tree Chongqing. The hardware is top-notch, and the interior of all spaces in the entire hotel is made of top-quality Thai teak, exuding a clear luster.
