Check out my Citywalk route: Day 1: Ciqikou Ancient Town ▶️ Baolun Temple ▶️ Wenchang Pavilion The ancient town has a long history where you can experience the local customs of Sichuan and Chongqing. It is basically a street filled with snack shops and stores. There is a dock where you can take a ferry to the other side of the river. There are many photo spots. Baolun Temple is one of them, an ancient temple with a thousand-year history. There are designated places to pray for 💰, 🎓, and 🌸. Finally, visit Wenchang Pavilion, which is also a place for prayer. Accommodation: Chongqing Ciqikou Wu Mansion Located in the scenic area, you can take a stroll as soon as you step out. Costume rentals are available, perfect for taking photos in the ancient town. Day 2: Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street ▶️ Guanyinqiao ▶️ Hongya Cave The snack street is in the business district. You can basically take care of all your shopping and dining needs here. The "I'm in Chongqing" screen is in Guanyinqiao. It's a great place to take photos day and night. After that, go to Hongya Cave and the Yangtze River Bridge to see the night view. Accommodation: Hongyadong Dieyuan Hotel If you don't want to squeeze in with everyone to take assembly line photos, you can enjoy the view from the hotel. The rooms have balconies that lead directly to the outdoors. Other floors have floor-to-ceiling windows where you can also take photos. Day 3: Relocated Cultural Relics of the Palace Museum Memorial Hall ▶️ Ciyun Temple ▶️ Baixiang Residence Relocated Cultural Relics of the Palace Museum Memorial Hall There are historical explanations inside. The surrounding environment is like an art district, 🉑 where you can take photos. At Ciyun Temple, you can see the confluence of the two rivers, with excellent scenery. Keep walking up, and there are places to pray on each floor. Longmenhao Old Street is also nearby within walking distance. Baixiang Residence is a residential area. You can truly feel the charm of the mountain city. Watch the cable car passing through the building up close. Accommodation: Owl Homestay You can directly see the three-sided Guanyin of Ciyun Temple. The small door of the Relocated Cultural Relics of the Palace Museum Memorial Hall is just outside the door. Here, you can take a shortcut and visit Ciyun Temple next door after you finish visiting the memorial hall. Day 4: People's Auditorium ▶️ Pipashan Main Street (Rainbow Stairs) The architectural complex of the auditorium is very magnificent. It's free to take photos outside, and it costs 8 RMB to enter the interior. If you have enough time, you can visit the Three Gorges Museum. The Rainbow Stairs are actually the staircases of a residential building. The long road has a sense of age. Accommodation: Moti Hotel It's like living in Alice's garden.
