▪︎ Location - Luang Pu Man Phurithatto Shrine Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan 103 Phra Pok Klao Road Sriphum Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai ⏰️ 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ▪︎ Atmosphere/Location - Luang Pu Man Phurithatto Shrine is a beautifully constructed shrine in memory of and veneration of Phra Ajahn Man Phurithatto, one of Thailand's most important Vipassana meditation (forest monks). ▪︎ Highlights - Luang Pu Man Phurithatto Shrine at Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan is the only temple where Luang Pu Man was abbot. Therefore, a shrine was built to enshrine a statue and the relics of Luang Pu Man Phurithatto. The shrine is enshrined in a beautiful Lanna architectural style, enshrining a molar tooth relic. Inside the Royal Vihara, a life-size bronze statue is built for the public to pay homage and remember. ▪︎ Currently, the relics and the molars of Phra Ajahn Man are kept by Phra Palat Ket at the Jongjit Pavilion, Wat Chedi Luang.
